About Me

Matt Thomas graduated from the University of Georgia in 2000 and immediately delved into the real estate arena, first in Atlanta and then in Athens and the northeast Georgia area.

In 2003 and 2004, he was inducted into the President's Circle, a designation for the top 10% of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide. In 2004, he was named 'Athens Best Realtor' by the Athens Banner-Herald's Readers Choice Awards, and in 2005 and 2006, Thomas received the President's Elite designation, a sales award given to only the top 3% of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide.

In 2007, Matt co-founded Atlas Real Estate Advisors. As manager of the residential division of Atlas, Matt specializes in helping buyers, sellers and investors in the Athens, GA real estate market as well as the surrounding area.

In addition to his managing his business, Matt is also involved in multiple Athens-area charitable and civic organizations. He lives in Athens with his wife, Brooke, and their young daughter, Taylor.
